... kein Doom Forum, ohne nen Wounded Kings Thread!

Total geiler, straighter, gruseliger, athmosphärischer okkult Doom, das neue Album "The Shadow over Atlantis" kam bei I Hate Rec. und ich geh da total steil drauf ab, der Gesang is auch total passend (ähnlich wie n depressiver, melancholischer M.Malcolin oder so..)
Und laaaaaangsaaaaaam! Sind aus England die Jungs, und n Line Up wechsel steht kurz bevor, also evtl. nochmal "zugreifen" und live erleben, wenn möglich - bevor Sänger und Gitarrist die Band verlassen (habse leider aufm Hells Pleasure verpasst weil se ne Stunde früher gespielt haben als geplant und wir noch unnerwegs waren, man ich musste echt fast heulen, waaaaaargh -.-)

Uhh! Wirklich sehr gut. Das letzte Mal das mich eine Doom-Band gleich begeistern konnte war zu ''Harbinger of Metal''-Zeiten. Ich hab' zur Zeit leider vorne und hinten keinen Cent für CDs übrig, leider...
Die Haben-Will-Liste wird auch immer länger.

Schlechte Neuigkeiten:

"There is no easy way to say this but all our coming shows for this year are now cancelled!!
Our drummer Nick has broken his hand and even though he was going to play under the influence of Painkillers the doctors have said that if he plays he may lose the use of his hand altogether! (no bullshit!)

We are all totally gutted about it, Nick most of all as he literally fuckin lives to play!

For those that have seen our live set you will fully understand that a replacement at such short notice is not an option such is the complexity of Nicks arrangements that to find someone to step in would take weeks of rehearsals, time which unfortunately is not on our side!

We are truly sorry to the fans who were coming to support us, the other bands we were dooming out with and to the Promoters for booking us! we so appreciate your support, effort and time to make these gigs possible and we look forward to working with again in the future!

So Sorry - there really is nothing we can do!

Ich glaube die größte Neuerung besteht darin, dass nun eine Frau singt... Passt aber ebenso unheimlich gut dazu!
