Sterbehilfe is a band from germany which plays scarecore.
The Sterbehilfe members are:
Marco (drums)
Achim (bass)
Michael (guitar)
Alex (vocals)
Most of our lyrics (written in german) are political and social criticizing although we have some fun lyrics, too. Some songs even don't have lyrics. Thoughts and messages are then expressed through the song names itself.
If you are organizing a concert or some festival and think we would fit into -

By the way: Sterbehilfe is also a german word which means "euthanasia". We do not use this name to offend people - we just want people to think about it.
biography / history
Founded by Marco, Alex and B-lex as a total Noise Band. In the same year, CONTAMINATION (founded ’89 by Marco, Micha and Sino doing a raw kind of Grind/Hardcore) Sterbehilfe Split-Demo was released. Some more studio and practice-room tapes followed. After doing some gigs, both bands united to Sterbehilfe. Now doing a mixture of Hardcore/Noisecore and Grind. In ’94 the BARCASS/Sterbehilfe Split 7” was released (on SCHAUF REC.) and 5 trax for the “OBRADE” internat. Comp. LP were recorded finally out in ’96). We always did some gigs all over Germany. Then in '94, after lots of line-up changes and quittings began a time of non-existing. Doing nothing, no gigs, no recordings.
But in ’98 our former shouter Alex rejoined and Sterbehilfe started off as never before! We did gigs again, and in mid 2000 the Sterbehilfe/FINAL EXIT Split-7” (Japan) was released on the japanese label MINK RECORDS. Our new MCD called "47 MENSCHEN, EIN WUNSCH" was recorded Sept. 2000 and was released June '01 on the label REGURGITATED SEMEN RECORDS.
Two month later (Aug. '01) the AGATHOCLES/Sterbehilfe "FUCK SATAN EDITION 'inverted' Split-7” was released on SOUND IST SCHEISSE RECORDS. Later in 2001 follows the full-length Split CD with the anarcho ultra-punk Band URBAN BLIGHT (also on SOUND IST SCHEISSE RECORDS).
In Malaysia there are also some releases done by the OWN CONTROL label:
a four way internat. split tape with: ULRIKES DREAM (Bel.), NOIZYMUTHA (Mly.), ABUSO SONORO (Bra.), Sterbehilfe (Ger.) and the NOIZYMUTHA/Sterbehilfe Split tape.
Our sound changed a bit too, over the years. It can now be described as a mixture between HARDCORE CHAOS & NOISE POWERVIOLENCE. IT'S THE SOUND OF, AS WE CALL IT "SCARECORE".
